Arisaig to Plockton

Tuesday 11 May 2021

Set off very early to get out of Arisaig at HW. It was pouring with rain and pretty miserable. We were so busy negotiating the rocks we didn’t get proper foul weather gear and everything was sopping wet and we were a bit 😩 😩

Morning pit-stop at Dun Ban Bay to wait for the tide. The mooring buoy in the bay hadn’t seen much maintenance and we imported local sea life onto our boat..

Then through the Kyle Rhea with speeds nearly 10 knots which is very fast for Seahorse.

Under the Skye Bridge after Kyle of Lochalsh

Finally arriving at our destination of Plockton - a Scottish National Trust historic village - prettyalthough again NOTHING open ...
