Light wind F1-2 SW in the morning - very calm. Sea pretty flat, land flat, full of wind turbines and not much else.
Here’s Filey Bay as we motored away ..
And here is Flamborough Head
And here is the state of the sea at midday
We avoided sailing through the wind turbines. They are strictly patrolled by swift security vessels.
We negotiated the busy entrance to the River Humber, through the TSS and with permission from Vessel Traffic System (VTS) we crossed the precautionary area missing some big things on the way. Seahorse seemed very little.
It took an age sailing up towards Grimsby dock, and we eventually arrived through the lock at 1900. We parked beside another ‘Seahorse’ from RNSA. Collapsed into bed.
