We have reached our 'turning point', the farthest northwesterly point of the British mainland. Much careful planning to ensure we were here at slack water to ensure the tide was favourable, leaving Kinlochbervie at 5 a.m. The pilot warned of very rough seas if you got it wrong. As you can see we nailed it - Susannah got us as close as possible for the photo opportunity.
Marine Traffic were not watching...
Anchored in Loch Eriboll by lunchtime....
