30th April - Port Erin, Isle of Man to Portpatrick, Scotland
Avoided arrest in the Isle of Man, slipped out at dawn.
Up the Mull of Galloway, negotiated fearsome tides. Found Portpatrick, reputation for difficult entry because all destroyed in the 1860s. Tied up against wall. Very long lines required.
