Pwllheli to Holyhead

Said goodbye to Jessica. Thanks Jess for being such a great Seahorse companion.

Exiting Pwllheli was a nightmare. The entrance has silted up with the dredgers due to arrive the day we were trying to leave. We took the opportunity to give our hull a ’scrub off’ on the sand banks - not entirely planned. Picture shows entrance super narrow passage.

Long journey to Holyhead arriving 1230 am dodging ferry traffic and adverse tide. Safely tucked up in Holyhead and now plan to go walking in Anglesey as weather not great tomorrow

What intrepid adventurers you are ! We are so sad not to be in Anglesey right now to see you . Have you climbed Holyhead mountain ? It takes about an hour and is a beautiful walk with great views . And it is very close to the Harbour too .

Well done with all this and will keep watching your progress !! How lucky you are with the weather 🔆xx

Ha Ha - the old 'scrub off the bottom trick' - Dad used to make us do that ever time he beached us round there - which was quite often!! XX

South Stacks lighthouse is pretty dramatic for a leg-stretcher!
