We waited anxiously in the morning for the tide to turn north to take us round the notorious Ardnamurchan Point with its heavy seas and overfalls. We were a bit surprised when the neighbouring boat set off about 4 hours earlier - they didn’t seem to think tides were a problem .. as it turned out AP was a pussy cat and we sailed past smoothly.
Then we negotiated the entrance into Arisaig which is a classic sea loch with rocky entrance - very wiggly.
Navionics came to our rescue
Fantastic!
Still looks terrifying to me!!! So well done for a fantastic effort - I'm sure it's been huge fun too? Keep on keeping on! Big hugs Bimbi xxxx
